UK Product Warranty

The AdaptEar® is covered by a warranty of 2 (two) years. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase of brand new, unused product by the first end user from an authorised AdaptEar® Dealer. Please retain your sales invoice as proof of purchase. Unless you submit proof of purchase, which will be verified with your authorised supplying AdaptEar® Dealer, you may be required to pay for any repairs that are carried out. The proof of purchase supplied must state the date of purchase and name of the product.

We shall satisfy our warranty obligations by remedying any material or manufacturing faults free of charge, at our discretion, either by repairing, by exchanging individual parts or the entire unit.

The following are not covered by the above warranty:

  • Faults which occur as a result of improper use e.g. operating error, mechanical damage, submersion, incorrect operating voltage etc. Proper use for the purposes of this Warranty is as defined as the use of the product in line with the Operating Instructions;
  • Faults due to wear and tear;
  • AdaptEar® that have had their serial number removed, altered or obliterated;
  • Any modification of the AdaptEar®;
  • All Warranty claims become void if the AdaptEar® is tampered with by any unauthorised persons;
  • Minor deviations in the quality of AdaptEar® which do not affect the product's fitness for its intended purpose.

Warranty claims can be enforced in any country throughout the world in which the statutory rights of the country concerned are not in conflict with our warranty. No other warranty claims or claims over and above the rights stated in these terms and conditions will be accepted.

Customers may be entitled to statutory rights in their own countries which are not restricted by these warranty terms and conditions, as the warranty is governed by the laws of the country in which the AdaptEar® was purchased by the consumer. The provisions of the UN Convention on the International Sale of Goods do not apply to this service.

If you wish to file a claim under the warranty, please send the AdaptEar┬« to your authorised AdaptEar® Dealer, together with proof of purchase. The client is responsible for the cost of shipment. To avoid any damage in transit, please use the original packaging if possible.

Limitation on Damages
This Warranty is transferable provided the current owner can provide the original proof of purchase information. This Warranty is your exclusive remedy and LimitEar Limited shall not be liable for any special, consequential or indirect damages for breach of any express or implied warranty on this product.

Other Conditions
This Limited Warranty is governed by the laws of the place in which the LimitEar product was purchased by the first end user; provided, however, that the provisions of the UN Convention on the International Sale of Goods are expressly made not applicable.

Any claim under this limited warranty is subject to you notifying LimitEar or the authorised AdaptEar® Dealer of the alleged defect within a reasonable time of it having come to your attention and in any event no later than before the expiry of the warranty period.
